Vector PTS performed a transport analysis for Gruppo Mercurio, focusing on intermodal cabotage solutions for vehicle distribution across India. The project evaluated logistics routes from production facilities to dealerships, considering cost efficiency, transit times, and infrastructure constraints. By analysing multimodal transport options, including road, rail, and coastal shipping, we identified optimal solutions to improve supply chain performance. The study provided actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. This supported the client in developing a more effective and scalable vehicle distribution network across the Indian market.
