Vector PTS supported clients across Europe in managing business interruption claims arising from allision incidents involving vessels and port infrastructure. The work focused on assessing damage to Ship-to-Shore cranes and quay structures and evaluating the operational impact on terminal performance. Our team analysed alternative repair strategies and locations, considering cost, time, and operational constraints. By combining technical and financial expertise, we quantified loss of business and supported claim validation. This enabled stakeholders to make informed decisions, minimise downtime, and implement effective recovery strategies aligned with operational and commercial priorities.
