APM Terminals

In 2011, Vector PTS had the privilege of partnering with APM Terminals on a truly groundbreaking initiative — the customisation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Italy’s first semi-automated container terminal. This milestone terminal project represented a significant leap forward in the evolution of terminal operations within the country, setting a new benchmark for innovation and efficiency in the Italian port sector.

Drawing on a powerful combination of deep technical expertise and strong local insight, we played a pivotal role in shaping operational processes that were precisely aligned with the terminal’s unique regulatory framework and specific operational requirements. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we worked closely with all stakeholders to craft tailored solutions that reflected both international best practices and the distinct demands of the local environment.
