In 2019–2020, Vector PTS took on a pivotal role as subconsultant and on-site project manager for DSP (Switzerland) at the Modjo Logistics Hub in Ethiopia — a flagship initiative forming part of a broader African development programme aimed at transforming regional trade and logistics infrastructure.

At the forefront of this ambitious project, we led the on-site project team with clarity and purpose, driving progress across all key workstreams. We took ownership of leading the development team during the process of defining detailed specifications for both the Terminal Operating System (TOS) and the electronic gate system — two critical components underpinning the hub’s operational backbone. Particular attention was given to ensuring seamless integration with existing platforms, guaranteeing that the new systems would function cohesively within the established technological ecosystem.

Through strong leadership and a collaborative spirit, Vector PTS helped lay the groundwork for a modern, efficient, and well-connected logistics hub at the heart of East Africa.
